There is no rule that defines a spiritual garden. The main objective is to calm down and meditate so you have to select and place things and plants that lead you to the state of meditation. For some, it can be sacred symbols, for others it can be something related to their past, or just anything that helps you feel that you are in touch with nature. The items you choose should be able to help you meditate.
