Not all gardens are for luxury and enjoying. Most household gardens are centered around their fascination and/to themes. But as spirituality is catching up in the US as well as other parts of the world, we have a new theme for gardens. The theme of Spirituality claims to contain all the elements from the nature (the basic ones being air, water, soil, fire, and sky). It is bit hard to imagine how this type of garden would be. But it promises deep relaxation and purification of body as well as soul.

There is no rule that defines a spiritual garden. The main objective is to calm down and meditate so you have to select and place things and plants that lead you to the state of meditation. For some, it can be sacred symbols, for others it can be something related to their past, or just anything that helps you feel that you are in touch with nature. The items you choose should be able to help you meditate.
